The new Volkswagen Tayron has been officially presented in Ukraine and is already available for pre-order. This model occupies an intermediate position between the familiar Tiguan and Touareg, offering an optimal balance between size, technology and cost. Despite the fact that Tayron is a new player on the Ukrainian market, it immediately attracts attention due to its thoughtful design, modern technical solutions and the quality of workmanship that we are accustomed to from the Volkswagen brand.
The car's interior is made in the current style of the brand and combines functionality with visual purity. The new-generation Digital Cockpit digital instrument panel provides a convenient and understandable display of all data, and the multimedia system with a large screen quickly responds to touches and supports all modern connection formats. Additional comfort behind the wheel is provided by the projection display, which displays information directly on the windshield, without distracting from the road.
The new model comes with permanent 4MOTION all-wheel drive, which is especially important for Ukrainian roads with their unpredictable weather conditions. Buyers are offered a choice between two powerful and reliable engines: a petrol 2.0 TSI with a power of 265 horsepower and a diesel 2.0 TDI, developing 193 horsepower. Both options are great for city driving and long trips, providing a good reserve of traction and economy. Tayron behaves confidently on the highway, while remaining maneuverable in dense city traffic.
The car's trim levels are selected taking into account different needs. The basic Elegance version is distinguished by a balanced set of functions and an elegant appearance. Its price starts from UAH 2,090,481. The more equipped R-Line Platinum version offers a sporty look and an extended range of equipment, including a Harman Kardon audio system, adaptive cruise control, heated seats, IQ.Light matrix headlights and other useful functions. The cost of this trim level starts from UAH 2,331,621. Regardless of the chosen variant, Tayron offers a spacious interior and two capacity options: a five-seater with a trunk volume of 885 to 2090 liters, and a seven-seater (optional) with a trunk of 850 to 1905 liters.
Volkswagen traditionally focuses on driver assistance systems, and Tayron is no exception. The crossover's arsenal includes Hill Start Assist, Lane Assist lane keeping system, Front Assist emergency braking, Light Assist high-beam assistant, Side Assist blind spot monitoring system, Park Assist Plus advanced parking system, Area View all-round camera and other electronic assistants that make every trip safe and comfortable. All this makes Tayron not just a new model in the lineup, but a fully thought-out car for a family, city and country routes.
