Swedish car manufacturer Volvo Cars presents a special version of its flagship XC90 SUV in the Black Edition, which combines elegant modern design with exclusive premium details. This trim level is available for both rechargeable hybrid versions and mild hybrid models, offering buyers a choice of four striking body colours. The distinctive features of the exterior of each Black Edition model are glossy black elements, including the brand logo, radiator grille, rear emblems and designer wheel rims, creating a cohesive and harmonious image for the car. The manufacturer offers owners a choice of two all-black interior options with charcoal headlining and aluminium decorative elements with a unique checkerboard pattern, as well as two types of seats in the same colour scheme.
Previously, Black Edition models were only available in Onyx Black, but now the exterior palette includes three additional options: Crystal White, Denim Blue and Vapour Grey, each of which emphasises the car's Scandinavian aesthetics and gives it an even more confident appearance. The launch of the XC90 Black Edition coincided with the update of the XC60 and XC40 models with mild hybrid technology, and the manufacturer plans to expand the range with the EX30 Black Edition in the future. As Volvo Cars Commercial Director Erik Severinsson notes, the expansion of the Black Edition model range with the XC90 is a response to high consumer demand and allows the company to offer customers timeless design in all size categories of the brand's cars.
