The American division of German automaker Audi officially unveiled the updated version of the A6 sedan, which debuted in the United States several months after its European premiere. The model received a comprehensive restyling, affecting both the exterior and interior, bringing it in line with current trends in the business-class segment. Exterior changes include a new radiator grille with a striking honeycomb pattern, redesigned air intakes in the front bumper, uniquely designed wheels, and a redesigned rear bumper. A key difference between the American and European versions is the replacement of chrome trim elements with glossy black ones, giving the car a more understated and sporty character without being overly pretentious.

The interior of the updated sedan for the US market is fully consistent with its European version, offering the driver and passengers the highest level of technology and comfort. The centerpiece of the interior is a sophisticated 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, as well as a multimedia system based on Android Automotive OS with an impressive 14.5-inch touchscreen, which is integrated with the ChatGPT chatbot for expanded voice control capabilities. A separate 10.9-inch display provides entertainment for the front passenger, and four-zone climate control emphasizes the care taken to ensure the comfort of all occupants. A premium Bang & Olufsen sound system with 20 speakers, a head-up display, and multicolor ambient lighting complete the modern and luxurious interior ambience.

The new model's technical underpinnings are based on the Premium Platform Combustion, developed for models with internal combustion engines. Under the hood of the American Audi A6 is a powerful 3.0-liter turbocharged gasoline V6 engine, producing 362 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. This powertrain is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and the renowned quattro all-wheel drive system, providing excellent directional stability and traction in all conditions. According to the manufacturer, acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour is just 4.5 seconds, confirming the sedan's sporty performance despite its prestigious image.

The updated Audi A6's starting price in the US market is set at $64,000, positioning the model against other members of the German "Big Three" and Japanese premium brands. This price point makes the car an attractive option for buyers seeking a combination of distinctive design, advanced technology, high performance, and traditional German craftsmanship in the business-class segment. Deliveries of the new model to US dealerships have already begun, and the first customers will be able to experience all the advantages of the updated sedan soon.
