The official unveiling of the all-new sixth-generation Subaru Forester took place in the Ukrainian market, a long-awaited event for the brand's many fans who appreciate the combination of reliability, off-road capability, and unique engineering solutions. The new model immediately arrived at dealerships, and the importer has already announced ambitious plans to sell approximately one hundred units of this promising model by the end of this year, demonstrating confidence in its market success. The vehicle's global debut took place earlier in November 2023 at the Los Angeles International Auto Show, and now Ukrainian car enthusiasts have the opportunity to personally experience all the benefits of its extensive modernization, which has affected virtually every aspect of the vehicle, from the body structure to the interior and technological features.

From an engineering perspective, the updated Forester demonstrates the brand's commitment to its core principles, as it remains powered by the brand's signature 2.5-liter, direct-injection, flat-six gasoline engine, producing 185 horsepower. Paired with a revised Lineartronic CVT, it delivers confident acceleration and a smooth ride. A key innovation is the electric power steering system, inherited from the sporty WRX model and expected to provide sharper and more precise response to driver inputs. Fuel consumption, as claimed by the manufacturer, remains competitive, ranging from 0.7 liters on the highway to 0.1 liters in heavy city traffic—an excellent figure for a vehicle in this class with permanent all-wheel drive. Prospects for the Ukrainian market are also linked to the anticipated introduction of a hybrid powertrain, which is planned for next year, expanding the model range for potential customers.

The vehicle's visual appearance has undergone significant changes, as designers have created a more distinctive and modern exterior while simultaneously increasing torsional rigidity, which directly improves directional stability, handling, and overall comfort for both driver and passengers during long journeys on varying road conditions. A further step toward improved ergonomics has been significantly improved cabin sound insulation, allowing for a more enjoyable driving experience without unnecessary external distractions. The interior of the new Forester welcomes owners with a stylish and technologically advanced design, dominated by the vertically oriented 11.6-inch touchscreen multimedia display, seamlessly integrated into the center console.

For Ukrainian buyers, the new Subaru Forester will be available in three main trim levels: Limited, Sport, and Touring. Even the base version offers a generous amount of equipment, including all necessary safety and driver assistance systems, as well as comfort features. Pricing starts at UAH 1,833,000 for the Limited version, while the Sport trim costs UAH 1,899,000. The top-of-the-line Touring trim is priced at UAH 2,390,000. This positions the model in the premium segment, where not only technical specifications but also brand reputation, durability, and high resale value are important.
