The official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in Ukraine, MMC Ukraine, has announced the start of sales of the updated 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander SUV. The main feature of this model is a strategic partnership with world-renowned audio equipment manufacturer Yamaha, which has resulted in the integration of premium audio systems into the vehicle, radically changing the perception of sound quality while driving. Now, each Outlander trim level is equipped with one of two versions of the Yamaha Dynamic Sound audio system, which transforms the car's interior into a high-end concert venue with a meticulously constructed acoustic space. Buyers can choose between the Premium system with eight speakers for rich and powerful sound and the top-of-the-line Ultimate system, which includes twelve speakers, a subwoofer and a digital processor for flawless reproduction of the lowest and highest frequencies.
Yamaha engineers approached the task with true Japanese meticulousness, creating not just a sound reproduction system, but a holistic acoustic space inside the Mitsubishi Outlander cabin. To achieve the perfect result, special acoustic podiums were used for the speakers, additional work was carried out on the soundproofing of the body, and the Ultimate system uses two separate amplifiers that independently process low and mid-high frequencies to create a rich and deep sound. The most important element ensuring crystal-clear sound is the use of the innovative Zylon® material in the speaker design, which Yamaha uses exclusively in its flagship NS-5000 series speaker systems. Owners of the top-of-the-line version of the speakers can choose from several preset acoustic scenes, varying the sound from the powerful drive of a live performance to the intimate atmosphere of a jazz club, while the intelligent system automatically adjusts the sound balance for each passenger in the cabin regardless of their location.
Three unique intelligent noise compensation algorithms have been developed to ensure flawless sound quality in all driving conditions. The SCV algorithm dynamically adjusts the volume and tone of the sound depending on the current speed of the car and the type of road surface. The RCV system subtly adapts to changes in external noise levels during rain, ensuring perfect audibility even in the heaviest downpour, while ACV technology monitors the air conditioning system, levelling out acoustic interference from the fan. Thanks to this comprehensive approach, music is perceived exactly as the sound engineer intended, with all the nuances and emotional richness preserved, without distortion caused by external factors.
The update also affected the visual perception of the car's interior, which now harmonises with the highest acoustic comfort. The dashboard and door cards have been given a new faux leather finish with decorative stitching that emphasises attention to detail. The top-of-the-range models feature premium seat upholstery materials, including exclusive brown leather and black headlining. The multimedia system is centred around a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless interfaces for seamless smartphone integration. The list of available optional equipment includes options such as a digital rear-view mirror, ventilation and massage functions for the front seats, and a driver profile system with memory for individual seat and mirror settings. The exterior now features a new Moonstone Grey Metallic body colour with a complex depth effect, visually reminiscent of a precious stone.
For the Ukrainian market, a new front-wheel drive BUSINESS trim level has been added to the model range, based on a 2.5-litre petrol engine combined with a CVT transmission, offering buyers the optimal balance between performance, technological features and affordability. Even in this version, the car has decent basic equipment, including a 7-inch display on the instrument panel, a multimedia system with a large screen, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and engine start system, as well as a full set of power windows and a frameless rear-view mirror with automatic dimming. It is important to note that even in the basic configuration, the Outlander is equipped with an eight-speaker Yamaha Premium audio system, which sets it apart in its class. Test drives of the updated 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander are now available at dealerships across Ukraine. The BUSINESS trim starts at UAH 1,449,000, while the Intence version with all-wheel drive starts at UAH 1,665,000, and the flagship Ultimate trim is priced at UAH 1,849,000.
