The German tuning studio Novitec, known in the automotive world for its attention to detail and ability to turn premium models into even more luxurious and unique cars, presented a modified version of the second-generation Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV. The project was carried out by the Spofec division, which specializes exclusively in cars of the British brand, offering customers solutions that can emphasize the status and individuality of each example. This time, the object of work was the Cullinan Series II, which received a comprehensive update in the form of a more expressive design, an extended body and a significant increase in engine power, which makes the new product a noticeable phenomenon among premium SUVs.
The basis for the visual changes was the Overdose Black Badge package, which included wide wheel arch extensions that increase the overall width of the car by one hundred and twenty millimeters compared to the standard model. This solution allowed to create additional space for installation of exclusive twenty-four-inch wheel disks, developed by Spofec together with the American company Vossen, which has a reputation as a manufacturer of premium wheels. For a harmonious combination with the new dimensions and wheels, engineers installed a special suspension kit capable of reducing the ground clearance by about thirty-five millimeters, which not only improves the visual perception of the SUV, but also has a positive effect on handling at high speeds.
Technical modernization also affected the power unit. Under the hood of the SUV is a V12 engine with two turbochargers, which in the Black Badge version was reconfigured in such a way that its power increased to five hundred and twenty kilowatts, which corresponds to seven hundred and seven horsepower, and the maximum torque reached one thousand sixty newton meters. This combination of characteristics allows the massive and comfortable SUV to accelerate from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in just four point six tenths of a second, which is an impressive result for a car of similar dimensions and weight.
An important part of the modification was the exhaust systems made of stainless steel and offered in two versions, with or without electronic sound level control. These systems give the twelve-cylinder engine a richer and sportier timbre, making driving even more emotional. Each car modified by Spofec is created for a specific customer, which concerns both external parts and color schemes, as well as interior features or equipment settings. That is why the final cost of tuning is not fixed, but calculated individually, which corresponds to the philosophy of the brand, for which absolute exclusivity is important, not mass production.
