A new service is now available in Ukraine - restoration of a stolen or lost driver's license in the offices of the State Enterprise "Document". According to the press service of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this service is currently available only in Kyiv, Dnipro, Odessa and Lvov. However, in the future it can be expanded to other cities of the country.
To restore a driver's license through the State Enterprise "Document", users can sign up online through an electronic queue on the official page of the enterprise on Facebook. This will help save a lot of time. You can also just come to the office of the State Enterprise "Document" without an appointment and hope for a short queue. According to the press service of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, submitting documents to the administrator takes only 10-15 minutes.

In addition, in Ukraine it is planned to reduce the validity of driver’s licenses from 30 to 10-15 years. Bill No. 8082 has already been registered in the Verkhovna Rada, and the Committee on Transport and Infrastructure recommended its approval. According to this bill, drivers will be required to undergo physical and psychological testing every 10 or 15 years, depending on the category of vehicle. If a large number of fines accumulate, the driver will also have to take the theoretical and practical exams again. However, the bill has not yet been adopted even in the first reading.
