In the automotive industry, digitalization of the interior has become a trend, the new electric Porsche Cayenne has demonstrated the closest approach to a futuristic approach to interior design. Despite the fact that the official premiere of this car is scheduled only for the end of this year, leaks and test photos already allow us to form a fairly complete idea of what the new flagship of the brand will be like. Particular attention should be paid to the interior, it has practically lost physical buttons and acquired a whole ecosystem of displays, visually united into a single information plane. Judging by the photographs, in the front of the cabin you can see at least four full-fledged screens, two of which are a digital instrument panel and a central multimedia system, combined under one single glass, creating the effect of a giant display that visually covers almost the entire space in front of the driver and front passenger.

Below the main screen block is a third display responsible for system information and vehicle performance indicators, and just below that is a fourth, large touchscreen that takes up almost the entire area of the center console. This lower screen is most likely designed to control the climate control system, ventilation settings, and seat heating. At the same time, the number of physical controls in the cabin is kept to a minimum: only a few toggle switches are visible, most likely responsible for temperature control, and a separate wheel designed to change the volume of the audio system. However, despite such a large-scale digital transformation, Porsche has not abandoned its characteristic aesthetics and key details that have historically been perceived as part of the brand's identity. For example, the well-recognizable analog Sport Chrono chronograph remains at the top of the dashboard, and the small transmission selector still occupies its place within the central tunnel, albeit in a redesigned environment.

The center console, by the way, has also undergone a redesign and now has a noticeable protrusion, at the base of which, apparently, there is a zone for wireless charging of smartphones and, possibly, other small devices. This organization of space emphasizes Porsche's desire for ergonomics and a modern approach to the layout of controls, without changing the brand's philosophy, where comfort is combined with dynamics. Externally, the electric Cayenne resembles its younger brother Macan EV, and this is no coincidence: both crossovers are built on an extended version of the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform developed by the Volkswagen Group for its top-end electric vehicles. This architecture not only provides technical advantages in the form of a flat battery and a dual-motor configuration with all-wheel drive, but also provides flexibility in design and layout, allowing you to create cars with an emphasis on performance and comfort at the same time.

So far, the official specifications of the power plant of the new Cayenne EV remain behind the scenes, but it is logical to assume that it is based on the same unit as the Macan Electric, with the ability to accelerate to "hundreds" in less than five seconds and a power reserve of over five hundred kilometers. The manufacturer promises to announce more precise data closer to the premiere. However, even without figures, it is clear that Porsche is betting on thoughtful integration of technologies, a modern interaction interface and a bright visual design, without forgetting about the sporty heritage. In the new Cayenne EV, minimalism, functionality and luxury merge into a single concept that can satisfy the requirements of even the most demanding fans of the brand, who are confidently looking to the electric future.
